As a Patient Service Assistant (PSA) Keran will be one of the people you see on reception when you attend the surgery, but the role involves much more than checking you in for your appointment.
The PSAs are the people you speak to when you need an appointment or prescription and are trained to triage the problem or symptoms you are reporting to establish which clinician is best suited to deal with your needs.
A PSA will also act as a hub for communication between you and your Doctor as well as processing prescription requests and sample forms.
The patient Service team is here to ensure that you are dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible and that any questions or concerns you may have about our service are resolved effectively, to give you the best possible care.
