Non-urgent advice: Order Your Repeat Prescription Online
Ordering online is the quickest and easiest way to request your repeat medication. It also helps free up phone lines for patients who need urgent help
Prescriptions may take up to 2 full working days to be processed. Please order in plenty of time.
Click on the headers for the ways you can order prescriptions using the convenient options below:
1. NHS App
The NHS App is a simple and secure way to manage your healthcare from your phone or tablet.
With the app you can:
- Track the status of your request
- Nominate or change your pharmacy
- View parts of your GP record
- Download for free:
You’ll need to set up an NHS login, which you can do through the app using photo ID.
2. Patient Access
Patient Access lets you:
- Request repeat prescriptions
- View your medical record
- Book and manage appointments
How to use:
- Log in to Patient Access if you already have an account.
- If you don’t have an account, contact reception to get a registration letter.
- You can access Patient Access via web browser or by downloading the mobile app.
- You will need a unique registration code from us to get started.
3. PATCHS
PATCHS is our online consultation service, where you can send us non-urgent medical or admin requests — including prescription requests.
To request a prescription via PATCHS:
- Click on “I want help with something else”
- Select “Request a prescription”
- Fill in your medication details and submit
4. Email
If you are unable to use the above apps or PATCHS then you can request a repeat prescription via email at lscicb-fw.villagescripts@nhs.net
Include:
- Your full name
- Date of birth
- Medication name(s) and doses
- Your nominated pharmacy (if applicable)
Note: We can only accept requests for repeat prescriptions via email. For new medication or changes, please contact the practice or use PATCHS.
5. Alternative Measures
If you are unable to use any of the four methods above you can either return prescription slip to the prescription box in reception or you can call us on 01253 204333 and press extension 2 between 8am and 2pm.
Non-urgent advice: Important Information
Allow 2 complete working days for your prescription to be processed
Requests received after 2pm may be handled the next working day
All prescriptions are sent electronically to your chosen pharmacy
