Prescription Voicemail Service Ending
Important Update: Prescription Voicemail Service Ending
From 12 noon on Friday 3 October 2025, our prescription voicemail service will no longer be available. After this date, patients will not be able to order repeat prescriptions via voicemail.
We have listened carefully to patient feedback and are introducing a process to ensure everyone can continue to order prescriptions with ease:
Patients who are digitally exempt can still request repeat prescriptions by calling our main practice number.
All other patients can order prescriptions using one of the following methods:
- The NHS App
- A PATCHS message
- The prescription request box at reception
Over the past few months, we have communicated about this change on our phone service and are pleased that most prescription requests are now made through the NHS App, PATCHS, or paper forms.
This change will help us monitor prescription requests more effectively and address any issues promptly—something that is not possible with the voicemail system.
We understand that some patients may have concerns. Our team is happy to assist and will support anyone who is digitally exempt or anticipates any difficulties.
If you are digitally exempt or think this change may affect you, please contact the practice as soon as possible so we can help.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
