Mounjaro Update

In light of recent news about the cost of Mounjaro increasing, we’ve received a number of calls asking if we can prescribe it for weight loss.

At present, we are waiting for further guidance from our Integrated Care Board (Lancashire and South Cumbria) regarding the prescribing of weight loss injections such as Mounjaro. NHS England has issued criteria, but until we know the exact process and how it will be delivered locally, we are unfortunately unable to prescribe, assist or refer.
